Formwork erector — Nassau County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork erector in Nassau County, New York. You will work on a busy high-rise construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Performance bonus on top of base pay.
