Gang bricklayer — Uvalde County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Uvalde County, Texas. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. The role involves: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Full-time, day shift.
