Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundsman in Butler County, Kansas. Day-to-day duties: • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs Requirements: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers We offer $27 per hour plus benefits.
