Flatlock machine operator wanted in Norfolk County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Norfolk County, Massachusetts. You will work at a busy garment factory. On the job you will handle: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens 1+ years on the tools preferred.
