Lathe operator — Cherokee County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe operator in Cherokee County, Kansas. The job is in a textile mill. Day-to-day duties: • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety Rotating shifts. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
