Construction helper wanted in Monroe County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a construction helper in Monroe County, New York. You will work on a high-rise construction site. What we are looking for: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
