Rebar installer — Monroe County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar installer in Monroe County, Tennessee. You will work on a busy residential building site. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Day to day you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
