Foundry worker wanted in Decatur County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry worker in Decatur County, Indiana. You will be based on the moulding line. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts On a typical shift you will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring.
