Power press operator — Sumter County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a power press operator in Sumter County, Alabama. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Your main tasks: • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
