We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Sampson County, North Carolina. The role involves: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Rotating shifts.
