Immediate opening: we are hiring a press machine operator in Barry County, Michigan. The role involves: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways You should have: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
