Immediate opening: we are hiring a blocklayer in Surulere, Oyo State. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Your main tasks: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser Six days a week, one day off.
