Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane operator in Montgomery County, Arkansas. The role involves keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • A good head for heights for tower crane work Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
