Trainee butcher — Grimes County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Grimes County, Texas. The job is at a busy retail butcher's shop. Day-to-day duties: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
