Crane rigger — Berkeley County

Join our team: we are hiring a crane rigger in Berkeley County, South Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Day to day you will set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $28 per hour, based on your experience.
