Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Middlesex County, Virginia. The role involves fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
