VMC operator wanted in Iron County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a VMC operator in Iron County, Michigan. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery On a typical shift you will run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines.
