Port container crane operator — Akwanga

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Akwanga, Nasarawa State. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Understanding of hand and radio signals On the job you will handle: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins 6+ years on the tools preferred.
