Immediate opening: press operator (Utah)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press operator in Grand County, Utah. You will be based on the press shop floor. On a typical shift you will carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area. You should have: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits.
