Press machine operator — Caddo Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press machine operator in Caddo Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a sheet metal stamping unit. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Day to day you will apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
