Nursery worker • Ogemaw County, Michigan

Now hiring: we are hiring a nursery worker in Ogemaw County, Michigan. The job is in a botanical garden. You should have: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Your main tasks: • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings Six days a week, one day off.
