We are recruiting: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Kaufman County, Texas. On a typical shift you will fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
