Overlocker operator — Ouray County

Now hiring: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Ouray County, Colorado. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams On a typical shift you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
