Immediate opening: we are hiring a presser in Smith County, Kansas. You will work in a tailoring workshop. Day to day you will meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets 3+ years on the tools preferred.
