Now hiring: JCB operator (Scotland)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a JCB operator in Shetland Islands, Scotland. On the job you will handle: • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift You should have: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
