Single needle operator — Eau Claire County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a single needle operator in Eau Claire County, Wisconsin. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. On the job you will handle: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish You should have: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Performance bonus on top of base pay.
