Immediate opening: rebar worker (Cross River State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar worker in Calabar South, Cross River State. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Day to day you will keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level 4+ years on the tools preferred.
