Container truck driver — Red River Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a container truck driver in Red River Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a logistics warehouse. What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience On a typical shift you will check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
