The role involves prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint. You should have: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale Full-time with occasional weekends.
