Production welder — Eastern Obolo

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a production welder in Eastern Obolo, Akwa Ibom State. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around ₦220,000 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
