Flatlock machine operator — Alpine County

Now hiring: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Alpine County, California. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. On a typical shift you will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Full-time, day shift.
