Fettler — Pike County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fettler in Pike County, Kentucky. The job is on the moulding line. On the job you will handle: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
