Horizontal milling machine operator wanted in Sioux County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Sioux County, Iowa. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. Ideal candidate: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Your main tasks: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
