Now hiring: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Logan County, Illinois. You will work at a civil contractor's yard. On the job you will handle: • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily You should have: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
