Precision welder • Scott County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in Scott County, Iowa. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings You will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding.
