Heavy equipment operator — Bama

Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Bama, Borno State. You will work at a stone quarry. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines Ideal candidate: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance 3+ years on the tools preferred.
