Immediate opening: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Asotin County, Washington. You will setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) 6+ years on the tools preferred.
