Sewing machine operator • Clearfield County, Pennsylvania

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania. You will work on an export house sewing floor. You will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. Ideal candidate: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Full-time with occasional weekends.
