Stamping press operator — Vanderburgh County

Join our team: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Vanderburgh County, Indiana. You will be based on the press shop floor. You will deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
