Refrigeration service engineer — Vilas County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Vilas County, Wisconsin. The job is at a supermarket cold-chain site. Day-to-day duties: • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Service split AC units and VRF systems What we are looking for: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders 4+ years on the tools preferred. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
