Flatlock machine operator — Ballard County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Ballard County, Kentucky. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. What we are looking for: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Your main tasks: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required Rotating shifts.
