Foundry labourer — Cook County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Cook County, Georgia. Your main tasks: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Basic grinding and fettling skills $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
