Immediate opening: insulation worker (Virginia)

Now hiring: we are hiring an insulation worker in City of Alexandria, Virginia. You will work in lofts and crawl spaces. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane On the job you will handle: • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding 1+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $23 per hour plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
