System formwork carpenter • Towns County, Georgia

Immediate opening: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Towns County, Georgia. You will be based at a reinforced concrete building site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork The role involves: • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
