VMC operator • Putnam County, Ohio

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a VMC operator in Putnam County, Ohio. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control Requirements: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Performance bonus on top of base pay.
