Vacancy available: we are hiring a baker in Ashtabula County, Ohio. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. Day-to-day duties: • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials You should have: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to work early-morning and night shifts 6+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
