CNC programmer-operator wanted in Mono County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Mono County, California. You will work in a toolroom. On the job you will handle: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Full-time, day shift.
