Immediate opening: cnc setter-operator (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Carroll County, Virginia. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. The role involves: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Write and edit G-code programs at the control You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Part-time with flexible hours.
