Structural MIG welder — Grant County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Grant County, Oregon. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding The role involves: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence 2+ years on the tools preferred.
