Wet plasterer — Geidam

We are recruiting: we are hiring a wet plasterer in Geidam, Yobe State. The job is at a plastering and dry lining contractor. Day to day you will tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Rotating shifts.
